Twenty Years of Science

Twenty years! Certainly a huge reason to celebrate. This anniversary is even sweeter because it is a rebirth of sorts. Typhoon Ondoy did not spare this sanctuary of science, but thanks to generous sponsors and supporters, the Philippine Science Centrum is back in action!

The official PSC Mobile is ready to go.

We're here at last. The party has started... 70 minutes ago!

Come on in, anyway.

The Chairman.

Kiddie library. DVIWGA is not an acronym for anything, by the way.

Green goo. We actually got to take some home! No, that's not buko pandan pie.

So, kid, what does Infinity look like?

Alex and his wall of soap.

Little girl wants to travel back in time, a la Austin Powers.

Talk about being weight-conscious.

Still one of my favorite areas in the Centrum.

Patrick was about to do a backflip.

"Are you sure this a good idea? I just ate two bowls of wanton noodles."

Bring home a piece of scientific evidence.

Latest attraction, a typhoon simulator. Just the wind force, no accompanying rainfall.

Bye for now!

There's so much more to explore inside the Philippine Science Centrum than what my limited photos have shown. The entrance fee is still cheaper than a movie ticket. So bring your friends over and have loads of geeky fun!

Where is it located?

Open on Sundays?

I'm curious how much I'll weigh on other planets. Hopefully much much more!
